My breastfeeding journey

My breastfeeding journey started and it wasn't easy, but it gets better every day!

You can get all the information regarding breastfeeding during your pregnancy but you cannot know how it will go until you get there 😁

In my case, Noah was born with a tongue tie, so it was difficult for him to latch properly for the first weeks until we get it sorted. I had used nipple shields to help him to feed and he was really good!
Once, his tongue tie was fixed, he latched perfectly and was driving the breastfeeding, he made things easy for me! His weight was flying up!

It was hard, it was exhausting but it was worth it! The power of our bodies to feed him for at least 6 months, exclusive with breast milk and I am so proud of myself and my body that I couldn't ask best way to start the motherhood.

Once, he started BLW (baby lead weaning), but still his main food was breast milk until 12 months. He loves food, so I didn't have any problem with him regarding food!

Then, at 1 year old, I have started to reduce the feeds so he could sleep through the night. It was hard for 2 days but then he understood that he wont have breast milk during the night and started sleeping through the night with no harsh!

At the moment, he is 18 months old, and we are still breastfeeding but just one time before he is going to sleep and it is wonderful feeling!

He is making things so easy!
